Paprika failed to beat a horse home in her last start in the Doomben 10,000 but trainer Liam Birchley thinks the drop in class for tomorrows Gai Waterhouse Classic should match the finish position the 3yo filly had in the New World City Handicap.Praprika goes into tomorrows race as the second favourite behind Jerezena who finished 4th in the group 2 Dane Ripper Stakes when she started as the $3.80 favourite. Both fillies have plenty of class and will most likely look to head south for the Spring Carnival in Victoria later in the year.
